AIM conference 2022 FAQs

How to book

Online bookings have now closed, but to buy a ticket, please email aimadmin@aim-museums.co.uk and let us know how many tickets and which ticket type you’d like. Please note, there is no availability for either of the social events.

Are Digital only tickets available?

After two years of running successful online conferences, we’re returning to an in-person event this summer, our first since 2019.

We feel that getting together in person can best enable us to offer delegates the benefits, peer support and networking opportunities that AIM conference is renowned for.

We understand the importance and popularity of our online offer too, so an online event is planned for later in the year. Do be sure to subscribe to our eNews for the very latest. And don’t forget AIM’s popular Hallmarks at Home online programme is available throughout the year and remains free to members. You can see the latest upcoming sessions here .

Training grants

AIM members are entitled to apply for a training grant to cover the cost of their conference ticket. This applies to the AIM member Day 1 and Day 2 combined ticket, and Day 1 or Day 2 tickets only. The training grant can’t be used to cover the cost of the social events. Please click here for more details on training grants and to make an application>>

Filming and photography

We intend to film the main conference sessions and ticketholders will get access to these films shortly after the event.

Our marketing team will also be taking photographs during the event for future promotional use by AIM.

Cancellations and refund policy

If the event is cancelled, you will be refunded your ticket fee.

You can also request a refund, or transfer your ticket to a colleague, up until 2 June (or up until the start of conference, 16 June, if COVID related) by contacting aimadmin@aim-museums.co.uk. Please note, that after Monday 16 May, no refunds can be offered on social bookings (Thursday dinner and / or Friday social), although these bookings can still be transferred to a colleague.

COVID

We will be following the latest government guidance in relation to COVID safeguards at events.
