Why attend?

The workshop will be a unique opportunity for you to see digital tools in action on offer to Festival Partners. It will explore ideas about how they could be used to create digital experiences (including showcasing items from your collections) to accompany Civilisations Festival activity.

You’ll be able to see examples of the tools, hands on demonstrations and practical advice on how they could be used by your organisation for storytelling and more.

As they’ll feature items from your collections, you are encouraged to bring along colleagues with a range of expertise to come along. The workshop is ideal for:

  • Museums that would like to take part in the BBC Civilisations Festival in 2018
  • Staff or volunteers that have practical experience of curation
  • Staff or volunteers that are involved in digital programme activities
  • Staff and volunteers that might use digital tools during the festival

People with all levels of expertise are welcome.
