Sharing collections data has too often been seen as a one-way street. As something that takes a lot of effort without much to show for it. This year’s Collections Trust conference explores the transformative benefits for your museum, different users, and the wider sector.

The conference programme offers a mix of presentations, case studies and discussions. The excellent line-up of speakers will consider a range of topics, including different ‘use’ scenarios and how the new Museum Data Service will help make sharing collections data, and recording resulting new information, easier for everyone.

An individual ticket costs just £30. There’s also a £75 team ticket option which allows 3+ staff, trustees, and volunteers from the same institution to access the conference.

This year, Collections Trust is delighted to offer 100 free inclusive places. These are available on a strictly first-come-first-served basis to individuals who are UK based and

• Unwaged, for example a student or volunteer
• Underrepresented in the museum workforce, including people of Global Majority backgrounds, disabled people, and LGBTQ+

Breaks are scheduled in the programme approximately every 60 minutes, and live captioning will be provided by StageTEXT. The event will be recorded and made available for catch-up for ticket holders.
