Hallmarks at Home – Managing people through change

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.

As the national and local picture for the coronavirus pandemic continues to change, it’s very clear that the cultural sector will continue to face unprecedented challenges in the coming months.  With unpredictable visitor numbers, income and the shifting impacts of local restrictions, it can be difficult to know the best way to manage and support employees, volunteers and trustees during these uncertain times.

Whatever changes you’re making at your museum – from introducing Covid-safe working practices to changing staff structures or making redundancies – this interactive workshop will help you to manage and support people effectively through those changes.  During the session, we’ll explore how people might respond to changes at your museum, what practical steps you can take to support and manage people as changes are implemented and how you can overcome people’s resistance to change.

The workshop will be led by Alex Lindley, one of AIM’s Prospering Boards consultants. Alex has extensive experience of working with AIM members and other cultural and Not-for-Profit organisations to plan change projects and put in place the communications, training and support structures needed to implement them successfully.

Wednesday 25 November 11am – 12.30pm.
