Hallmarks at Home – Planning your marketing (Postponed)

This session will help participants with their strategic marketing planning. It will be an opportunity to pause and reflect on how your marketing can support your museum’s goals and needs.

The workshop will cover:

  • The impact of the pandemic and cost of living crisis on museum audiences and implications for your marketing
  • Planning and delivering marketing in turbulent and evolving times
  • How to choose marketing channels and activity, and decide how to spend limited marketing budget most effectively
  • A chance to share challenges and ideas with other participants.

The session will provide a framework for participants who wish to go on to develop a marketing campaign and links to additional resources.

The session will be led by Christina Lister, marketing and audience development consultant with 20 years’ experience, author of AIM’s Success Guide ‘Successful Marketing for Museums’ and author of an upcoming book ‘Marketing Strategy for Museums’ to be published by Routledge.
