Hallmarks at Home – scenario planning for the future

Exclusively for AIM members, 8 places available.

Data emerging from museums indicates that some will struggle to survive the pandemic in their current form. The best boards, whatever their size, will already be taking a long and hard look at their future. The prime consideration of all board members is the holding ‘in trust’ of the Objects and purpose of the museum.

This practical workshop is designed to help participants take a realistic view of their options, including merger or closure.

The workshop will be led by Hilary Barnard and Ruth Lesirge of HBRL Consulting. They have a long track record of work with AIM members and others in the museum and heritage sector, as well as expertise in governance of a wide range of other non-profit organisations. They have also been alongside many boards as they undertake the journey.

Please note, as places are limited, this event is for members of AIM and there is only one booking per organisation. If you’re not able to make the session, please do let AIM know so we can allocate your place to someone else.
