Heritage Day 2022

Heritage Day is back for 2022 once again bringing together perspectives from across the breadth of the heritage sector.

Heritage Day 2022 will take place over 9 and 10 March as a hybrid event, combining accessible virtual sessions on Wednesday morning followed by an in-person event on Thursday afternoon, featuring Heritage Minister Nigel Huddleston MP and Chair of the National Lottery Heritage Fund Dr Simon Thurley CBE, which will conclude with an in-person networking afternoon reception at the historic Christ Church Spitalfields in London.

Attendees on 9 March (10am – 1pm) will be welcomed to the virtual event and have the chance to hear key speeches and panel discussions on the sector’s future resilience, take part in expert-led breakout sessions and see the awarding of Ecclesiastical’s Heritage Heroes Awards 2021.

And on 10 March, attendees will be able to join The Heritage Alliance and sector colleagues at an afternoon reception (1pm – 5pm) in person at Christ Church Spitalfields. Following keynote speeches from Heritage Minister Nigel Huddleston MP and Chair of The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Dr Simon Thurley CBE, and a panel discussion on what do the next 10 years hold for the Heritage Sector, attendees will have a long-awaited opportunity to network in person with fellow heritage professionals and sector leaders.
