Specialist skills workshop – Strategic marketing in turbulent times / Marchnata strategol ar adegau cythryblus

Mewn ymateb i’r cymorth a ofynwyd amdano yn ein rhaglen Rising Leaders, rydym wedi gweithio gyda Llywodraeth Cymru i ddyfeisio a chynnig y gweithdai sgiliau arbenigol canlynol. Bydd y gweithdai hyn yn eich darparu gyda’r sgiliau i symud ymlaen gyda’ch gyrfa a hefyd i ddatblygu beth y mae’ch sefydliadau yn ei gynnig.

Bydd y sesiwn hon yn helpu cyfranogwyr gyda’u cynllunio marchnata strategol. Byddai’n gyfle i adlewyrchu ar sut y gall eich marchnata gefnogi nodau ac anghenion eich amgueddfa.

Bydd y gweithdy yn cynnwys:

  • Effaith y pandemig a’r argyfwng costau byw ar gynulleidfaoedd amgueddfa a’r goblygiadau i’ch marchnata
  • Cynllunio a chyflenwi marchnata ar adegau cythryblus sy’n newid yn gyson – bod yn strategol wrth allu addasu
  • Mapio taith cynulleidfaoedd a dewis sianeli marchnata
  • Ffrawaith ar sut i gynllunio ymgyrch marchnata.

Bydd y sesiwn hon yn cael ei arwain gan Christina Lister, ymgynghorydd marchnata a datblygu cynulleidfa gydag 20 mlynedd o brofiad, awdur o Ganllaw Llwyddiant AIM ‘Successful Marketing for Museums’ ac awdur o’r llyfr newydd ‘Marketing Strategy for Museums’ i’w chyhoeddi gan Routledge.

Mae’r gweithdai hyn yn ddi-dâl i’w mynychu, ac maent ar gael i unrhyw un sy’n gweithio yng Nghymru mewn amgueddfeydd, llyfrgelloedd neu archifau. Nid oes angen i chi fod yn aelod o AIM.

In response to the support asked for in our Rising Leaders programme, we have worked with the Welsh Government to devise and offer the following specialist skills workshops. These workshops will provide you with the skills to move forward with your career and also develop the offering in your organisations.

This session will help participants with their strategic marketing planning. It will be an opportunity to pause and reflect on how your marketing can support your museum’s goals and needs.

The workshop will cover:

  • The impact of the pandemic and cost of living crisis on museum audiences and implications for your marketing
  • Planning and delivering marketing in turbulent and evolving times – remaining strategic whilst being adaptable
  • Audience journey mapping and choosing marketing channels
  • A framework on how to plan a marketing campaign.

The session will be led by Christina Lister, marketing and audience development consultant with 20 years’ experience, author of AIM’s Success Guide ‘Successful Marketing for Museums’ and author of an upcoming book ‘Marketing Strategy for Museums’ to be published by Routledge.

These workshops are free to attend and available to anyone working in Wales in museums, libraries or archives. You don’t have to be an AIM member.
