Steps to Sustainability skills session – Retail management essentials

AIM is pleased to support Steps to Sustainability – a Social Enterprise Academy programme supporting heritage organisations from across the UK to strengthen their strategic leadership and income-generating skills. Funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Social Enterprise Academy is hosting a series of free, online Skills Workshops open to anyone working in the heritage sector.

Skills Session 1 / Retail Management Essentials

This session will consider what the raison d’être is for your heritage shop. It will look at fundamental questions of retail space and shop fitting; measuring performance and profitability: elementary buying skills and sourcing, plus pricing to achieve target gross profit margins.

Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. Workshops only allow up to 16 people. Please note that this is for people who work in the heritage sector only.
