During the pandemic, many cultural enterprises invested in creating or improving the online shop. The issue now is bringing together the in-person and online shopping journey to provide a seamless and consistent customer experience. This session will review some of the technologies and best practices that help you to successfully delight your customers no matter how they choose to buy your gifts.
The session will be hosted by AIM Associate Supplier, Rod Barlow. Rod is an engaging leader and a passionate trusted advisor with a career spanning some 30 years, specialising in technology solutions for retailers, cultural enterprises, and charities.
Throughout his career he has successfully overseen the implementation of retail, e-commerce, hospitality, CRM and Membership systems to over 500 cultural, heritage and charity venues. His current work includes advising English Heritage, The V&A, RSPB, Royal Collection Trust, National Museums of Northern Ireland and many others on digital transformation and system modernisation.
