We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and engaged Head Curator to join our team at a truly groundbreaking time as we develop curatorial excellence and begin to shape the future of our Museum.

As Head Curator you will play a pivotal part in defining and delivering a new strategic vision that progresses our ambition
to be the world’s foremost museum of military engineering. Working as part of the senior management team, the Head Curator will lead our talented curatorial team, overseeing all aspects of collect management and engagement to create inspirational programmes and projects that build our understanding of the Designated Collection, ensure access for all and tell the inspiring and thought-provoking story of military engineering and its impact on the world today.

As a charity of the Corps of Royal Engineers, we are dedicated to strengthening connections between the military and civilian communities, enabling both to thrive and are keen to attract people with a range of backgrounds, experience and the skills necessary to enthuse people and lead change.

A competitive two stage recruitment process will include:

  • First round interviews on 8 May 2025 at the Museum.
  • Second round interviews on 22 May 2025 in London.
