Pendon Museum is a museum of rural life and transport in the 1930s located in South Oxfordshire. Pendon recaptures the scenes from the English countryside as it was in the 1920s and 1930s and features some of the finest model landscapes, buildings and transport models ever constructed. The first building in the model was started in 1935 by the Museum’s founder, Roye England, and the model is still in progress today. Within the modelling community, Pendon Museum has an international reputation for excellence. In recognition of its significance, Pendon became an accredited museum in 2016.

Pendon Museum Trust is currently seeking a Learning Officer to help us to develop and deliver a learning programme to engage and help us to reach schools and families.

This is an exciting time to become involved with the museum. Whilst we have elements of an informal learning programme including family trails, junior modelling sessions during the half term and school holidays, and pre-school sessions, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop the formal learning programme from scratch.
