Job Title: Research & Enquiries Officer

Salary: £25,000 pro rata

Hours: 15 hours per week

We are keen to recruit a dedicated, inquisitive and engaging Research & Enquiries Officer to support the Museum’s public enquiries services. Receiving over 1000 research enquiries each year, this new role will work alongside the Curatorial team to deliver one of our most significant Collection access services. The role will support a diverse range of enquirers including those new to historic research as well as academic and professional researchers. A sound knowledge of research methods as well as strong written and in-person communication skills will be essential.

This two day a week role will also work closely with our Visitor Services team to ensure that research visits are well planned and welcomed.

The new role provides a rare opportunity to really explore our fascinating Collection and gain insight into the day to day operation of the Museum.
