Job vacancy – Exhibition Programme Manager at Bailiffgate Museum

Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery in Alnwick, Northumberland is seeking to recruit an Exhibitions Programme Manager to support our ambitious exhibitions programme over the period November 2020 to June 2022.

This role is part of our Garfield Weston Foundation grant funded project. It is an exciting opportunity for someone to lead, deliver and maximise the potential of our 2021 & 2022 high profile summer exhibitions and finalise the exhibition programme up to March 2023. The post holder will also put in place an outline programme up to March 2024 which will include exciting exhibitions of national and regional significance giving local people from Alnwick and the surrounding area the opportunity to engage with the arts and heritage and to access cultural opportunities that are normally out of reach.

The successful person will be self-motivated, highly professional with a strong reputation for achieving good results in a timely way. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with our existing group of outstanding volunteers to support the future growth and development of Bailiffgate’s ambitions for the future.

Location: Alnwick, Northumberland

Salary: Approx 32 days up to £300 per day, depending on experience to include all travel and other costs

Contract type: Fixed – delivered between November 2020 and June 2022.

Start date: 1 November 2020.
