ARTSIG – Get Ready for 2022

Join CFG ARTSIG – Get Ready for 2022 and start your year off on the right foot, with all the latest thinking and sector updates for Arts charities like:

  • audit changes coming in the next few years and how to prepare for them,
  • SORP,
  • new legislations,
  • new tax reliefs for the creative sector,
  • going concern and more.

CFG will be joined by Jane Askew, Director at haysmacintyre, who works with works with a wide variety of not-for-profit entities including charities in the arts and culture, education, and faith sector.

This event is free and exclusively for CFG members and is part of the Arts Special Interest Group (ARTSIG). 3pm – 4pm Thursday 27 January on Zoom.

VAT and Tax Conference

VAT is a complicated area at the best of times and can be particularly complex for charitable organisations. In addition, those charities engaging in further trading through a subsidiary may be subject to taxation with a new set of rules and complications.

Gift Aid Seminar

For many charities, raising income through trading activities and Gift Aid has become an increasingly important source of revenue. However, charities need to be aware that certain restrictions can apply regarding what they can and cannot claim, depending on the nature and level of activity.

This seminar aims to:

  • Help charities identify those restrictions;
  • Help them with their Gift Aid management;
  • Cover the digitalisation of Gift Aid
