National Summer School for Arts Fundraising and Leadership
The acclaimed National Summer School for Arts Fundraising and Leadership will run again from 16-21 July 2017.
Led by University of Leeds, named University of the Year 2017 by The Times and The Sunday Times’ Good University Guide, in partnership with Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy. Booking is now open here.
An intensive, 5-day residential course for arts managers and fundraisers with at least 3 years’ experience, you will gain insights, ideas and skills to build long-term fundraising success for your organisation. The Summer School also offers time out for reflection – a rare chance for you to step back from the day-to-day pressures of work, time to explore new ideas and models, enjoy fresh thinking and meet new people.
At £1,850 + VAT, the Summer School is a time and cost-effective way of upskilling or refreshing your knowledge, and there are three bursaries of £500 to support independent students or those sponsored by small arts and cultural organizations, awarded on a competitive basis. If you would like to apply for a bursary, please download an application form from the website.
The deadline for applications is 5pm, Friday 28th April 2017. As one of the only accredited arts fundraising courses in England, participants will have the opportunity to apply for the Post Graduate Certificate in Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy and complete the Professional Practice module (an additional cost will apply) converting this training into an accredited qualification.
