Trustee vacancies – Herne Bay Museum Trust

Herne Bay Museum Trust, responsible for The Seaside Museum in Kent, is currently seeking a Treasurer and two new Trustees join the Board.

Treasurer

The overall role of a Treasurer is to maintain an overview of the organisation’s affairs, ensure its financial viability and ensure that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. At The Seaside Museum the Treasurer takes the leading role in the day-to-day finances of the organisation.

Trustees

The Trust is especially interested in applicants who have skills and expertise in finance (income generation), governance and legal, personnel management, marketing and promotion and education and outreach. However, if you are interested in becoming a Trustee but feel that you have different skills to contribute, please apply, as all applications will be considered.

Trustees are encouraged to assume a specialist responsibility and engage with management and operational activities and donate time at their convenience.

Commitment and how to apply

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 – 6 formal meetings per annum with additional meetings as required

Daytime or evening meetings: Meetings are currently online in the evening.
