An opportunity has arisen to join Culture Warrington’s Board as a new Trustee.
It comes at an exciting time for the Cultural charity behind Warrington Museum and Arts Gallery, Parr Hall, Pyramid Arts Centre and Warrington Arts Festival after the company moved to become a standalone organisation in March 2024.
As a representative of Warrington’s leading cultural organisation, our new Trustees will help build upon Culture Warrington’s vision to ignite and sustain people’s passion for culture and heritage and improve people’s wellbeing via varied, enjoyable, high-quality arts, heritage, entertainment and learning opportunities.
Maureen Banner, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said:
“We’re committed to expanding our cultural offer into Warrington’s communities and engaging with underrepresented groups to help shape our programmes, to ensure they are accessible and inclusive. Culture Warrington really values the diversity of ideas and skills that Trustees can bring. We need people who can challenge constructively, who are willing to learn and who want to deliver our vision and mission forward.”
New Trustees with experience in the fields of Museums and Heritage are being sought but experience in the following areas would also be beneficial:
- Human Resources
- Marketing and PR
