Maldon Museum in the Park is looking for an additional trustee to join our existing Board.
The museum is run entirely by volunteers and tells the history of people, places and objects from Maldon District.
Ideally we are looking for someone with a legal or business background to complement the skills of our existing team, although this is not essential. As a trustee you will be one of a team who shape the work and strategic direction of the museum. Trustees are not involved in the day-to-day running of the museum.
Previous governance experience is not required. Commitment and enthusiasm are.
Additional information
Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 3 – 6 meeting per year + extra tasks between meetings (approx. 2 hours per month)
Daytime or evening meetings: Meetings are arranged to accommodate trustees’ working patterns or other commitments.
