This year Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust (RGHT) celebrates a decade looking after key structures, objects and historic records within the Royal Borough of Greenwich in Southeast London, the most important of these being the Grade I listed Jacobean Charlton House.
We are seeking a range of talented people to join our board of Trustees, and help run our charity, as we look forward to the next 10 years.
We have exciting plans for Charlton House, as we seek to drive the Trust’s commercial and community activities and build towards a sustainable future for our heritage assets, as well as opening up the museum collection and archive to more visitors.
The role of a Trustee is to ensure the management and future success of the organisation, drawing on your skills and experiences to date and having the opportunity to develop new ones.
Previous experience as a Trustee is not required. Being a Trustee is a voluntary appointment.
Active people who support the Trust’s purpose. We are especially keen to appoint candidates with skills and ideas around strategic and creative thinking; fundraising and income generation, commercial development, marketing; heritage interpretation; and finance.
