Trustee vacancy – Battle of Prestonpans [1745] Heritage Trust

Battle of Prestonpans [1745] Heritage Trust seeks new Trustees to support the vision: the creation of a permanent visitor attraction which presents the battle and its legacy in immersive and engaging exhibition spaces, providing a permanent home for The Prestonpans Tapestry and a hub for maximising the cultural potential of the Trust’s activities.

Trustees are sought to support in the following areas:

• The Trust’s online presence requires creative leadership and development;
• the Trust’s ambition to establish a significant Living History Centre in Prestonpans requires networking and capex fundraising.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: We meet 8 times a year in the evenings in Prestonpans but with Zoom sharing for distant Trustees.

Daytime or evening meetings: Routinely evening at 6pm with dinner and finished by 8pm; but Zoom sessions on a focussed issue for small groups.
