Trustee vacancy – Bow Street Police Museum

Trustee Vacancies

Bow Street Police Museum opened in May 2021 and is one of London’s newest independent museums. We are currently looking to recruit two new Trustees to join our Board, specifically to take on the role of Treasurer, and to support the museum to develop a fundraising strategy.

Museum Overview

Located in the former Police Station and Magistrate’s Court on Bow Street, our exhibitions are filled with rich stories of investigations, arrests and justice being served. From the earliest watchmen and Bow Street Runners, to the modern Magistrates presiding over cases of international renown – peoples’ stories are at the heart of our content.

As a museum, our purpose is to engage audiences in an ongoing conversation about the history of policing on Bow Street. Through our exhibitions, talks, workshops and events we aim to explore the impact of law and order on the culturally rich and diverse communities of Covent Garden, both throughout history and today.

As an organisation, we are committed to providing opportunities that are inclusive and accessible to all. We strive to ensure our work reflects and represents the voices of everyone connected to our history.

In addition to the specific responsibilities of their role, we ask that all Trustees contribute to:
