Trustee vacancy – Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum

Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum is looking for a dynamic Chair who can lead the museum by using our recently drawn up Business Recovery Plan as a basis for improving sustainability and future planning.
The Chair will also need to reinvigorate our Trustee Board to ensure we have the correct skills and expertise on hand.
Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: The Board of Trustees currently meet bi-monthly. There is an annual Away day which may be run by an external body in conjunction with the Chair. The Chair is also expected to have regular meetings with the Museum Director who is also the CEO of SOFO Trading Company. The Chair is expected to occasionally attend Board sub committees. The Chair represents the charity at various events and meetings with partners and key stakeholders.
