Trustee vacancy – Treasurer – The Lace Guild

The Lace Guild is a small charity and accredited museum which has recently become a CIO (Charity Registration No 1195559). We are looking for a new Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and work alongside our existing Treasurer until our AGM in June to ensure a smooth handover of duties.

The role would suit someone with a strong accounting background. Familiarity with Sage and online banking would be an advantage. The charity employs a part-time Accounts Assistant to deal with day-to-day bookkeeping. The Treasurer will have an overview of our finances and also be responsible for preparing the end of year accounts on a receipts and payments basis. Other duties include setting the annual budget and producing financial updates for Board meetings.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 5 Board meetings per year(on Zoom) plus AGM,

Daytime or evening meetings: Evening on Zoom.

There is no set closing date but the current treasurer steps down on 4 June 2023
