Assistant Visitor Experience Manager – Soane Stable Yard & Tours – Royal Hospital Chelsea

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Soane Stable Yard ensuring high levels of customer service and sales. Responsibilities include managing our tours programme, supervising staff, Chelsea Pensioners, and volunteers, and maintaining the quality of visitor experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Audience Engagement team and external partners to deliver exceptional visitor experiences and contribute to the Soane Stable Yard’s ambitious Activity Plan. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a public-facing role within a visitor attraction, museum, or similar venue, and possess strong leadership, multitasking, and customer service skills. The role requires regular weekend and occasional evening work, and deputising for the Senior Visitor Experience and Programmes Manager. This is a part time role working an average of 32 hours per week which includes weekend working.

Salary £24,800 pro rata.
