Our team have a tremendous range of skills and experience as consultants and operators at all levels across the museums, heritage, arts and wider leisure and tourism sector. BJA’s experience includes preparing a range of successful National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) project business plans and reviews.

We are seeking potential Senior Business Planning and Secondary Research specialists (on an ad-hoc or freelance basis) to join our team who have some or all of the following experience:

  • At least 5-10 years related senior management experience in the attractions sector ideally including large and small venues and
    organisations in a related role.
  • 5 – 10 years of experience preparing business plans, developing new operating models’ visitor and financial projections for visitor
    attractions.
  • Conducted market assessments, drive time and penetration analysis, PEST analysis, benchmarking, comparator and competitor analysis, developing visitor projections, other related secondary research and presentation thereof
  • Experience of preparing business plans for NLHF projects.
  • Advised on governance, staffing structures and customer experience.
  • Significant experience preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, visitor and financial projections.
  • Proven experience in report writing, research, and funding within the heritage and attractions sector.
  • Candidates will need to be commercially and customer focused.

As a Business Planning or Secondary Research Consultant you will be able to assess and identify practical and simple solutions to the complex challenges our clients are facing.
