Collections Officer – Epping Forest District Museum

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team at Epping Forest District Museum to help us to deliver a new community focussed service. As Collections Officer you will be responsible for the care, management and interpretation of the Museum’s collections. Working in close collaboration with other staff posts, local communities, community organisations and the Collection Volunteer Team, the Collections Officer will develop interpretation and displays supported by a programme of exhibitions, ensuring that Accreditation standards are met for the care and management of the collections.

Located in an historic building in the centre of Waltham Abbey, Epping Forest Museum holds important local history, archaeology, ethnography and fine art collections with recently upgraded displays and public facilities. The Museum has a strong reputation and profile in the area, operating to a high standard of service through a lively programme of events and exhibitions.
