The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a dynamic and ambitious Creative Programme Manager to manage and coordinate the development and delivery of our audience engagement programme.
Supporting the Director of Knowledge and Engagement and working closely with the Marketing and Communications team and colleagues across the Trust, you will lead on the development and delivery of our creative programme, engaging with a diverse portfolio of artists, creatives and communities to bring new perspectives to our work.
You will have a passion for a broad range of arts from the visual to the performing arts, including maximising the opportunity presented by digital technologies. You will have experience of commissioning, producing and liaising with artists, developing and delivering programmes in response to specific context, venues and themes.
You will have a proven commitment and a passion for diversity and audience development, a demonstrable understanding of needs and motivations, and will be committed to taking a hands-on approach to ensure the success of events and programmes.
You will have good interpersonal, planning and budget skills, be able to confidently project manage and motivate a team of staff and volunteers, as well as work independently.
