The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is seeking a Curator, as part of a job share role, to manage the Library Collections.
The National Motor Museum Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to engaging and inspiring people with the story of motoring through world class collections. There are over 250 vehicles and extensive object, photographic, archive and library collections, all of which have Designated status.
Now in its 50th anniversary year, the National Motor Museum is embarking on an ambitious strategy to reposition itself for the future in regards to its collections and its engagement with audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and proactive Collections Team within an Accredited museum and help manage a varied library collection of around 300,000 items. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach, with demonstrable museum and collections management experience.
Salary Band 2: £23,000 – £29,000 per annum (pro rata)
Job share, 22.5 hours per week
