Our Director, Cindy Sughrue, will be stepping down in spring 2025 having led the Museum for nearly 10 years, including its return to operational and financial health following the pandemic. This is an exciting time to join the Charles Dickens Museum as we enter our centenary year.
The Director is responsible for providing active leadership and effective management of the Museum and its staff. Together with the Board, the Director leads on the development and implementation of the Museum’s strategy and oversees its operation for delivery against objectives. The Director is the public face of the Museum, maintaining and raising its profile with stakeholders and funders.
Salary: £60,000-65,000 per annum
