Director of Development and Communications – The Bowes Museum

We are looking for someone experienced in achieving ambitious charitable investment through fundraising, donations and sponsorship, and leading strategic communications campaigns that also deliver audience and stakeholder engagement. Overseeing growth in fundraising activities, you will secure investment for capital projects, programmes and sustainability, nurturing relationships with funders and donors.

You will oversee our team marketing the Museum’s offerings to the right people in timely and effective ways using engaging methods underpinned with a detailed understanding of the needs and motivations of audiences.
