An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in providing timely and accurate management of the Trust’s finance function, along with supporting Bletchley Park Trust’s mission.
The Finance Team sits within Support Services at Bletchley Park Trust, and as such, strives to provide an excellent service to all our colleagues. To do this it is essential that we demonstrate a high standard in our work, providing accurate and timely information. It is this foundation which enables Finance to support the wider organisation with reliable data and insights and the Finance Manager will be an important factor in delivering this.
The successful candidate will have managed a small team and should demonstrate broad finance experience, including sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, balance sheet analysis and preparation of management accounts. Key attributes include being highly numerate, organised, and demonstrating an attention to detail. A team player who builds first-class working relationships, with excellent communication skills is required for this role, along with good problem-solving skills, being able to take the initiative and being inquisitive.
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, although applications for part time working of 30 hours per week or more will also be considered. The salary is £36,000 – £38,000 FTE per annum (pro-rata for part time) depending on experience and is based at Bletchley Park. Benefits include 33 days holiday per annum pro rata, including statutory holidays, company pension scheme, death-in-service and healthcare cash-plan.
