Finance Officer – Bletchley Park

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the other Finance Officers, you will form an integral part of the Finance Team keeping all financial data up to date and supporting Bletchley Park Trust and its mission.
The Finance Team sits within Support Services at Bletchley Park Trust, and as such, strives to provide an excellent service to all of our colleagues. To do this it is essential that we demonstrate a high standard in our work, providing accurate and timely information. It is this foundation which enables Finance to support the wider organisation with reliable data and insights and the Finance Officer will be an important factor in delivering this.
The successful candidate will be familiar with general financial duties including processing income and expenses, using computerised accounts packages, and with a proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Key attributes include being highly numerate, organised, and demonstrating an attention to detail. A team player who builds first-class working relationships and who also has the ability to work independently with excellent communication skills is required for this role, along with being helpful, honest, inquisitive and adaptable to change.

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, although applications for part-time working of 30 hours per week will also be considered. The salary is £21,000 – £24,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) depending on experience and is based at Bletchley Park. Benefits include 33 days holiday per annum (pro rata if part-time), including statutory holidays, company pension scheme, death-in-service and healthcare cash-plan.
