Going Places Activity Plan Consultant – Art Fund

Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art.

We believe that art can make you see, think and feel differently, and through our work we help make art more accessible to as many visitors as possible, wherever they are.

We are currently seeking an Activity Plan Consultant to support the development of Going Places, a new UK-wide programme that will engage and involve underrepresented audiences with museum collections through high quality, collaborative touring exhibitions and public programmes. This opportunity has been made possible through the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund which has awarded a development grant to help Art Fund progress its plans in this area and apply for a full NLHF delivery grant in late 2024.

Going Places will establish five networks of 2-5 small to mid-sized museums, with each network producing two touring exhibitions over five years (2025-2030). The Activity Plan Consultant will support networks in planning and delivering development phase (January – October 2023) community consultation, co-creation and co-curated activities, alongside preparing a fully costed, detailed five-year Activity Plan for submission with the delivery phase application to The National Lottery Heritage Fund in November 2024.
