Head of Development – The Historic Dockyard Chatham
Salary: £40,000
Hours: Full time
Location: The Historic Dockyard Chatham, Kent
Closing date: 5:00 pm 17 January 2022
Funding from external partners has been critical to the success of The Historic Dockyard Chatham since its closure as a Royal Navy Fleet Base in 1984. Since then, Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust has been fortunate to secure over £60m of funding to create the outstanding mixed-use estate that all our users enjoy today.
We are looking to recruit a Head of Development to help Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust secure critical external funding to support a wide range of projects that directly impact against our joint charitable purposes of Preservation and Learning. As a key member of the Trust’s Extended Management Team, this post will work closely with the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust Senior Management Team, lead all fundraising and development opportunities and the post will have responsibility for developing and building corporate sponsorship, capital fundraising programmes, individual and legacy giving.
This is a new role for Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust and we are looking to recruit an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of success. Experience within the cultural and heritage sector is highly desirable but not essential.
If you have experience in fundraising and development, we want to hear from you.
