This is a brand-new leadership role within the Museum to ensure our visitors stay at the heart of everything we do and drive a step change in the way we operate every day.

You’ll have a big and important remit which can only be achieved through the team that report to you, so you’ll be a people-focussed leader with a can-do attitude. Your team has 20 permanent staff, over 400 volunteers and further seasonal workers, making sure everyone is clear on what must be delivered, has the skills and support to do so and are prioritising appropriately will be key to your success.

You’ll need to use your commercial acumen to maximise our visitor income and achieve gift aid, retail and other income targets, helping generate funds which will allow us to further develop the Museum and meet our ambitious plans.

Brooklands Museum is a fast paced and fun place to work, you’ll need to be able to keep a number of plates spinning every day but that’s just what makes Brooklands the special place it is. Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 depending on experience.
