The Heritage Alliance is seeking a new Head of Policy and Communications to lead the small advocacy and comms team out of the final stages of the pandemic and represent the Alliance’s members on key upcoming issues such as the environment, climate change, planning and funding. The role leads the small policy and communications team and has responsibility for both the strategic advocacy and policy priorities and deliverables, and the strategic communications (including overseeing the final stages of a rebranding, website upgrade, newsletter redesign and press strategy).

Candidates should have a knowledge of the UK policy landscape and a demonstrable interest in heritage, as well as significant expertise in communications to multiple audiences. The role is part of the senior team at the Alliance, and holds responsibility as Board secretary alongside the delivery of some of our current infrastructure improvements.
