HR Advisor – Bletchley Park

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Advisor (HR), to join our friendly HR Team.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Advisor will work as part of a small team to support with the day-to-day delivery of the Trust’s HR function, providing high-quality, generalist professional HR advice and administrative support to our staff and volunteers. The key focus will be on payroll processing, absence management, learning and development, and supporting with the organisation and delivery of staff wellbeing and social activities. They will also support with case management as required.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing generalist HR advice to management teams and staff, have a good understanding of employment law and HR best practice and will be able to show how they have applied this in a practical and proactive manner.
They will also have a good understanding of payroll processing, strong administration skills and be IT proficient, with confidence in using HR and time management systems. Knowledge of payroll (Sage 50 Payroll) and applicant tracking software would be an advantage.
Approachable and hardworking, they will be a team player willing to support with tasks as and when needed. Confident in handling information confidentially and able to work with discretion, tact, and integrity.
A CIPD/HR qualification would be beneficial for this role, however, we would also welcome applications from candidates with an interest in undertaking a qualification in HR that have the experience required.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, based at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9.00am until 5.00pm. The ability to flex working hours to accommodate some ad hoc evening/weekend working to support with socials/wellbeing initiatives, is required. You will be based at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes.
The salary is £26,000 per annum. Benefits include 33 days annual leave per year, including statutory holidays, a company pension scheme, death-in-service and healthcare cash-plan.
