Interim Operations Director – Eureka!

Eureka! is a well known and well loved  family and children’s visitor attraction in the north of England and remains the UK’s only dedicated children’s museum – an interactive hands-on experience specifically for children aged 0-11.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging role, pivotal to the success of our attraction. We require someone with experience in the visitor attractions sector or similar, but the right person will also embody our values. They’ll help us to create an inclusive and safe environment, and fulfil our mission to engage children from birth to 11 in a range of play-based learning experiences which facilitate their emotional, intellectual, physical, social and creative development.

The Operations Director will be responsible for leading the experienced Visitor Services, Café, Shop, IT and Facilities Management teams to ensure that the day-to-day operations and systems meet the expectations of visitors, staff and other stakeholders.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, plus 5% company pension
Contract type: Fixed-term, up to 9 months
