Do you have experience working in a visitor engagement or education role? Are you a confident and engaging communicator? Would you like to put our visitors at the heart of everything you do?
Yes… Then this could be the job for you!
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) Trust is one of Britain’s (and, indeed, the world’s) leading heritage railways. It is an accredited museum and has recently been awarded National Portfolio status by Arts Council England, the first heritage railway to be recognised in this way. You will lead, develop and manage high quality, varied, informal and formal learning experiences and interpretative programmes for all audiences. Our activities and programmes must have the ability to reach and actively engage with a broad range of audiences across our accredited living museum and support our charitable purposes and funding objectives.
Benefits:
- 22 days annual leave per full annual leave year plus bank holidays (increasing with service).
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for you and your immediate family.
- Free standard travel on NYMR.
- Free Car Parking.
- Discounts in NYMR shops and Tea Rooms.
- 75% reduced rate travel on the national rail network (rail card can be applied for after 1 month’s service).
