Are you highly motivated and dynamic with a passion for improving young people’s lives through high-quality learning experiences? We are looking for a proactive and energetic person with experience of museum education to lead the development of our learning officer.

You will be part of a team who are passionate about encouraging participation and dialogue with the local community, stakeholder groups and volunteers. You will lead the development and delivery of our learning programmes. We want Herefordshire to be a centre of excellence in community-led programming and cultural engagement.

We want to celebrate diversity, foster creativity and spark curiosity. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we undertake the redevelopment of Herefordshire Museum and Art Gallery and reorganise the service. We are working to re-establish strong relationships with the people and communities of Herefordshire.  Your experience of developing and delivering learning activities will be central to making a success of this role.

Herefordshire Museum Service has been safeguarding the cultural heritage of Herefordshire since 1874. The service is going through an exciting period of change as it transitions to being a socially engaged organisation.
