The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a self-motivated and ambitious Marketing and Communications Assistant to play an active role in delivering an exciting and varied multi-disciplinary marketing and communications strategy.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer and working closely with the Marketing and Communications team, you will lead on developing our social media activities, ensuring that audiences and stakeholders are updated, engaged, informed and entrained with our activities and initiatives.
You will also support the team in the delivery of a range of marketing campaigns and communications outputs, including raising the profile of the Trust, campaigns to drive visitors to Shakespeare’s Family Homes and supporting our learning and creative programmes.
About You
This role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone with an interest in marketing and communications who wishes to develop their skills from the ground up.
You will be a strong writer and researcher with your attention to detail only outmatched by your organisational skills. You will have an understanding of delivering social media campaigns and hands-on skills in delivery and scheduling is desirable.
An interest in marketing and communications in a museum or leisure attraction setting, as well as the arts, culture and knowledge of the works of William Shakespeare is also of interest to us.
