Museum Director – Corinium Museum

Objective

To provide day-to-day management of the Museum and line-management of Collections, Education, Visitor Operations and Commercial and Marketing staff.

About us

The Corinium Museum, managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Cotswold District Council, has recently reopened after a £1.9m transformation and now offers a new reception area, stunning new interactive prehistory galleries, and a new learning centre in the Grade II Abberley House.

The Corinium Museum holds large and internationally significant collections of archaeology, social and rural history and is recognised as a major archive of outstanding archaeological material being used by researchers from all over the world. The museum is Accredited with Arts Council England.

Corinium Museum seeks a fully qualified and experienced museum professional to manage the recently transformed award-winning museum in the heart of the Cotswolds.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a minimum of five years’ experience in the management of collections, engagement projects, fundraising, income generation and operations.

Salary:  £38,000 to £43,000  p/a
