Museum Director – The Panacea Museum
Salary: £38,000
Hours: Up to 1.0 FTE, 35 hours per week. Includes occasional cover, evenings, bank holidays, and two weekend days per month during the high season

Job purpose
An exciting new opportunity has arisen at The Panacea Museum for a dynamic and highly motivated museum professional with management skills to help lead and shape the Museum.
The museum tells the story of the Panacea Society – a remarkable religious community formed in the early twentieth century.
The key objectives of the role will be to:
- Develop (for Trustees’ consideration) a new strategy for the museum
- Lead, motivate and manage the museum team
- Implement and deliver the museum’s objectives
- Deliver an excellent visitor experience
- Deliver effective budget management and business planning.
