Museum Manager – Land of Iron

Land of Iron is the branding of the newly extended and redeveloped Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum in Skinningrove village.

We are looking for an experienced cultural/heritage professional to become our new Museum Manager and lead the organisation through an exciting period of growth. You will have the ability to provide inspirational leadership, strategic direction and business planning and can create development plans that look to maximise both funding and earned income streams to ensure the financial sustainability of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has excellent sector knowledge and a strong track record within museums and/or cultural venues or projects.

This is a particularly exciting time to join and lead our team as we look forward to seeing the new Museum building open and our underground workings redeveloped and enjoyed; consequently, the trustees are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of staff and volunteers, and to lead the museum after this historic redevelopment.
