Museum Operations Manager – Blandford Fashion Museum
Salary: £12,000
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Term: One year fixed term contract

Blandford Fashion Museum is a small, unique, volunteer-led heritage organisation with big ambitions. We are now recruiting for the new role of Museum Operations Manager which will help us achieve our aims and take us into the future.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees the Operations Manager will assume responsible for the day-to-day running of the Fashion Museum, ensuring the museum is adhering to its accredited and charitable status.
Duties will include financial management; co-ordinating the volunteer management team; leading volunteer recruitment and engagement; increasing the Museum’s visitor numbers; supporting the Museum’s outreach activities; accreditation management and assisting with grant applications.
Experience of working in a museum environment is essential; experience of making grant applications and managing a re-accreditation process would be a bonus. Applicants must be able to demonstrate great organisational skills; the ability to engage and inspire others and have the ambition to make a difference.
This is a part time (22.5 hours per week), one year fixed term contract role – with the potential to extend.
Salary – £12,000
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own tax and insurance.
