Nature & Communities Project Lead – Coldharbour Mill

Planning and delivery of our Rural Skills Training Programme, the development of Coldharbour Mill’s outdoor spaces, wildlife and waterways.
- The successful candidate would be on-site two days a week (Thursdays & on other weekday) and the role can be offered as an initial 12-month contract or on a consultancy basis
- Up to £250 per day (inc. VAT & travel costs)
- Possibility of extension subject to further funding

We are looking for a Project Lead who will plan and deliver our Rural Skills Training Programme, develop of Coldharbour Mill’s outdoor spaces including our wildlife and waterways.
The project aims to place the environment at the core of our work and will develop Coldharbour Mill’s outdoor spaces for the betterment of our visitors, community and the environment. The overarching project will see our outdoor spaces become amenities for the community as well as offsetting our carbon footprint and restoring the balance between industry and the natural environment. It will develop wildlife, creating habitat and sustaining the freshwater ecosystem though management of the land and waterways alongside the development and delivery of our Rural Skills Training Programme encouraging more participants to get involved in the project, learn new skills, socialise and explore their passion for nature and countryside skills.
The successful candidate would be on-site two days a week (Thursdays & one other weekday) for an initial 12-month period planning and delivering the project.
