Moira Furnace is a beautiful industrial heritage site within the heart of The National Forest. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person who enjoys working in different environments: parkland, ancient woodland, a scheduled monument, lime kilns and a land locked stretch of the Ashby Canal.

The role of operations manager is ideal for someone who thrives on managing a range of responsibilities with a focus on sustainable commercial activities, conservation of a scheduled monument and maintenance of the site.

We are looking for someone who can lead and inspire a small team of staff and a large team of volunteers to develop their potential and succeed, someone who works flexibly, adapts to changing environments, is confident, ambitious, highly motivated, and creative. You will be competent in using a range of IT and social media and have experience of assessing and managing risk. You will be expected to engage and work with a range of stakeholders.

This post has overall responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of operations and will report to the Chair.
