About the role

A flagship service of Exeter City Council, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), is Devon’s world class museum, a place of discovery which encourages everyone to be curious.  Its stunning displays reveal Devon and Exeter’s rich history and global connections, and a changing programme of exhibitions and events is inspired by the museum’s collections. In 2012 RAMM won the much-coveted Art Fund ‘Museum of the Year’ award in recognition of its innovative and thoughtful redisplay.

We are busy and active service welcoming 250,000 visitors each year, making the role of Operations Manager pivotal within the team. As premises manager with overall responsibility for venue operations and facilities management, you will lead and support a team of staff and volunteers to provide the excellent customer service that characterises RAMM’s visitor experience.

The Operations Manager is part of RAMM’s leadership team. If you enjoy working with people as well as systems and plenty of variety and creative problem solving, you will find this role both stimulating and rewarding. We would like to speak to you!
