Preservation Officer – IWM Duxford

The Preservation Officer is a new role within a newly expanded preservation team at Imperial War Museums. It will allow the post-holder to support the development of existing collections care projects in environmental monitoring and analysis, light management, housekeeping, volunteers and exhibition support. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual able to take forward these and other new initiatives relating to the storage and display of our remarkable collections. This position is ideal for someone aiming to develop their career in collections care and the museum is keen to support training and accreditation whenever possible and relevant to the role.
